During my service in the RAF in the early 1950's I served with 213 squadron in Egypt. I hope to bring my grandson to see the Vampire aircraft that I remember so well.

I found this a really interesting site and hope to be able to visit the museum some time. I have a special interest as my father worked with Frank Whittle on the jet engine (at BTH Rugby). He was then employed by Armstrong Whitworth at Baginton, where he worked on the Argosy aircraft.
